Thus, to fill you all in, I will start with our FIRST Anniversary:
A few days before our Anniversary, we had heard that the weather was going to be pretty bad on December 3rd; knowing this changed some of our plans for that day. The night before, Kyle surprised me with a Beautiful emerald green dress that I had my eye on at Anthropologie; one of my FAVORITE stores!!
As some of you know, he also surprised me with a beautiful dress to wear the night that he proposed to me; that man LOVES to surprise! The following morning, December 3rd, it was POURING rain...I actually had to return to Anthropologie to exchange the dress for a smaller size & decided to purchase a pair of emerald & gold earrings as well!! We spent the morning, watching the downpour and reminiscing on this past year as we ate a yummy breakfast. Around Noon, we decided to unravel our cake topper--it has been freezing at my Great Aunt's house over the past year...she had told us that it was going to taste just like it had on the night of our wedding...we were eager to see....
Needless to say, she was RIGHT!!!! It was moist AND yummy!!!! We couldn't believe it...shout out to my great aunt for sure and many many thanks to her as well.
Kyle and I decided to attend an early church service mainly because we had dinner reservations in Downtown Fort Worth and the weather was just awful. Following service, we snapped a quick picture before we headed to the restaurant...which is also the same picture we used for our Christmas Card.
As many of you know by now, we had to crop the picture due to the size of the Card...so the tid-bit at the bottom was completely left out....I gave myself some slack...it was our First!!!
Kyle and I chose Del Frisco's for our Anniversary Dinner mainly because it is a favorite of mine and the food is amazing. I have been going to the original location in Fort Worth for a long time and they still have the same menu. The restaurant is in a old historical building and everything from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere is just Splendid! We had fun...and the food just kept coming....here was my entree...
Sesame Seared Tuna was my choice... RARE in the middle is how I like it, which Kyle looked at my plate and then me and said, "I really do not understand...you won't eat beef, but you will eat THAT!" I like my fish FOTB (Fresh Off The Boat). Its the Hawaiian side of me I guess...I dunno...anyway, our dining experience lasted for a whopping 4 HOURS!!!! It was SO Fun though. I snapped a quick picture before we left.
