Burlap & Lace

Yesterday, Kyle and I took a stroll through Hobby Lobby to get some "Holiday Decor" ideas for our mantle over the fireplace. First, not many of you know this...well some of you do...but my husband LOVES to be involved in EVERY area of my life. Whether it involves holiday decor, vacations, people I hang out with, difficult decisions with everyday life, & etc. He wants me to know that He is there and supportive...of course! Kyle knows that I Love this about Him. Therefore, it was no surprise when he wanted to join me on my Hobby Lobby quest.

However, after spending about 15 minutes there, we had a cart filled with: two strands of garland & pine cones, 4 yards of Lace, 2 yards of Burlap, & a sparkly-jeweled heart. Thus, "just looking" turned into buying, which we did not even hesitate to do. After a stressful/busy/drama-filled Christmas last year, I really didn't have time to decorate ANYTHING and so both Kyle & I decided that this year would be different. 

On a quick side note, we are actually going to do a CHRISTMAS CARD this year!!!! This excites me!!!! 

Burlap and Lace together make such a Beautiful Combination. Classy, Subtle, & a bit Country...ALL of which I Love. Anyway, I ended up putting together what I wanted for our mantle & took a quick snapshot.
